This collection of Sami proverbs presents values and views of life among an Arctic indigenous people inhabiting the norternmost region of Scandinavia. 
The Sami claim that it is better to be on a juurney than staying put at one place - that is to say, the diametrical opposite to the English saying Home, sweet home. 
This proverb demonstrates the differeny values inherent in the traditonal normadic culture of the Sami and the more stationary traditional culture of tillers of the soil.
